DIGITALE: COLLABORATORS

Collaborators is a story about two people who love each other united by their passion for creating art. It is also a deeply personal reflection by me on the beginnings of my relationship with my girlfriend and favourite collaborator. The story told is as old as time - about two lovers, but the focus on artistic collaboration and the array of pictures taken by us makes it unique. The sense of how personal it is is further enhanced by the fact that the script is written & read by me.

Almost all photos used are either pictures taken by myself or Ines. There are occasional pictures presented from our shows, which have been taken by photographers (Alexander Newman, Rob Hoang, Laura Elain, George Tsakiris & Evelyn Paipietis) however these photographs were taken for publicity + archival purposes, and as they feature our likeness/are from works I have directed we have explicit access to reuse them. There were some additional footage (7 pictures + 1 video) taken by our friends (Mon Benson, Renzo Alcordo, Coll Burns, Isabella Mitchell, Alex Mouhtouris, Justina Blaylock & Sophie Burrows) which were included in the work as they highlighted an outside perspective to Ines & I’s interactions and added aesthetically to the work.

Lastly, the music Love Waltz Romantic CC by WALTZ MUSIC was sourced from youtube by the account Nikos Spiliotis.
